Welcome to CBC
Our church building might be closed but the CHURCH is very much alive and active! At present all our church meetings are on Zoom...and will remain so for the time being. See the COVID section of our website for further information.
As we negotiate these uncertain days ahead, may you know God’s peace, which passes all understanding.

CBC@Home - Upcoming Events and Notices
We've been learning to be church in a new way...and that includes how we keep everyone informed about upcoming events and general church notices.
The CBC@Home section of the website includes everything you need to know about what's on, how to join Zoom meetings, and get access to additional on-line materials.
Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade (Zoom only)
1st Cranham BB and GB companies are an integral part of the life of Cranham Baptist Church and provide a full program of activities for young people.
Boys' Brigade (school years 1-6) meets on Monday evenings (6:00pm - 7:00pm)
Girls Brigade meets on Wednesday evenings. Explorers (years 1-3) and Juniors (years 4-6) meet from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Seniors (years 7+) meet from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
Eastern Baptist Association

Before COVID we met at 10:30am each week for a Family-friendly service followed by Fairtrade cafe. Children left for their own special activities part way through the service.
During lockdown, although the building was closed we continued to "be church" in new ways with services and sermons published here as CBC@Home.
We've now moved to Zoom live services that start at 10:30am each Sunday - family friendly and open to everyone.
Those people without access can ask for a CD audio recording of the service to be delivered each week.
Home, Fellowship Groups, Church Bubbles
All these groups have been on-hold during COVID lockdown. We are now planning to establish a new set of "church bubbles" for smaller groups to meet at the church (with social distancing). However, we're waiting for the restrictions to ease further before launching these new groups.
The groups we're planning so far will be on Sunday Afternoons (family-centric), Wednesday Afternoons and Thursday Mornings.
OASIS is a "disability friendly" meeting for all ages and their carers. OASIS meetings are informal and fun and provide a safe environment and loving support for everyone.
Our meetings start with a friendly welcome and refreshments before we join together in a time of worship, songs, drama and varied craft activities.
We meet on the second Sunday of each month from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. See the church calendar for details.
If you would like to visit, or know more then, please call 07714 853545.
We look forward to meeting you.
